JOB DETAILS:
JOB GROUP “K”- 2 POSTS (ADVERT NO. 79/2022) (RE ADVERTISEMENT)
a) Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drawing survey & Deed Plans
• Preparing topographical base maps for development control
• Maintaining and manipulating various GIS data sets.
• Acquiring both primary and secondary spatial data sets.
• Data modelling and spatial analysis to inform decision making.
• Carrying out high quality cartographic visualizations, desktop and server user interface design.
• Preparing the annual GIS work plan.
• Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.

b) Requirement for Appointment.
• Must be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
• KCSE Certificate
• Served in the grade of Cartography Assistant II or one comparable and relevant position in the public service or relevant Institution for a minimum period of three (3) years;
• Diploma in cartography from a recognized institution in Kenya;
• Member of Institution of Surveyors of Kenya.
• Certificate in /GIS applications will be an added advantage

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Associate Degree
