POSITION 1: COMMUNICATION OFFICER ONE (1) POSITIONS JOB GROUP: P

JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution and management NTLD-Program communication strategies with a specific focus on creating increased awareness of TB. Leprosy and other lung diseases and the work of the NTLD-Program and its partners.

MINIMUM ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, journalism or any related degree
  • M-asters’ or post graduate diploma in related field will be an added advantage
  • Five years ‘work experience in the planning and management of communication, print and broadcast media or interactive digital media at national level

POSITION 2: MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST 1 (GRADUATE) - THREE (9) POSITIONS JOB GROUP:

Reports To: The officer will work under the Laboratory Manager of the health facility.
Location: Malinda, Machakos and Kitale
Vacancy Number: MOH/NTLD-P/02/2018

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.
  • Must have at least two years working experience preferably in TB related work. 
  • Be registered by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians Board (KMLTTB)
