Position: Clerical Officer JOB GROUP CPSB 12

Number of Posts: Ten (10) Posts
Terms of Service: Four (4) Years Contract
Basic Salary Scale: As provided for by the Salaries and Remunerations Commission

Duties and responsibilities
1. Processing appointments/promotions, discipline, transfers and other related duties m human resource management;
2. Processing of pension documents;
3. Safe custody of the invoices, receipts and other records;
4. Preparation of estimates of expenditure for general office services;
5. Preparation and maintenance of records and ensuring proper maintenance of filing system;
6. Processing of human statistics;
7. Assisting in planning office accommodation and layout;
8. Assisting in the management of the office’s operations and their personnel; and,
9. Sorting, filling and dispatching letters.

Requirements for Appointment
1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary School (KCSE) OR its equivalent;
2. Proficiency in computer application skills;
3. At least 4years experience in a similar position; and,
OR
1. Has passed the proficiency Examination for clerical officers administered by the Public Service Commission (Kenya).
