JOB DETAILS:
Overview
We are seeking to hire an experienced and proficient Web and Graphics Designer who will be responsible for deciding how websites look, make choices about layouts, fonts and images creating usable and aesthetically pleasing websites and also have the ability to create visual concepts to communicate information.
Hours Of work
This is a night position. 40 hours per week. Usual working hours are between 6:00pm-2:00am, Mon to Friday

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with company brand.
2. Update new properties including their description as well as maintain the company website.
3. Maintaining the appearance of the website by enforcing content standards.
4. Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
5. Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
6. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
7. Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
8. Formulating high-quality copy and visual content for each social media campaign.
9. Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.
10. Monitoring the company's brand on social media.
11. Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
12. Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.

Key Qualifications and Competencies
1. A relevant degree in a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
3. Good understanding of content management systems.
4. Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator and other visual design tools.
5. Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, J-QUERY and JavaScript.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Analytical skills.
8. Excellent I.T skills.
9. S.E.O Knowledge will be an added advantage.
