JOB DETAILS:
Oyominto TV, Your No.1 Gusii TV Station, informing you on the what is happening in in Nyamira,Kisii County Kenya and around the world. Oyominto TV, Egetacho ki`amang`ana Amanuke .
Key Responsibilities
• Careful handling of filming & video editing equipment ensuring it is in working properly and report any malfunction to the team lead or station manager.
• Ensure selection of shots are well framed and have the right colours to be able to reduce noise when passing a message to Oyominto TV audience.
• Ensure there is no distortion and there is clarity of up-sounds/commentary/music as per set standards.
• Prepare and assemble all necessary equipment before embarking on filming or editing.
• Advice on how to frame shots which will tell a visual story when put together during post-production.
• Shoot and edit for all broadcast and new media.
• Ensure quality control for video during all productions (live and recorded ) this is by checking colour temperatures, exposure and luminance to maintain broadcast quality standards in both video and audio sequences.
• Take care of Oyominto TV equipment while in the studio or the field.
Minimum Qualifications
• Diploma or degree in Media Technology /TV or Film Production.
• 2- 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in a busy work environment or broadcasting station will be an added advantage.
