JOB DETAILS:
About the role:
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our agents and staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet their KPIs towards measurable business outcomes . This position will require extensive travel within the country.

What you would be expected to do
• Training Program Development: Develop comprehensive training programs and materials for field staff and sales agents, including product knowledge, sales techniques, collection practices and customer service skills.
• Training Delivery: You will be required to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions with field staff and agents and also audit and ensure continuous improvement of the training delivery of Regional mentors in various locations across the country, ensuring consistent delivery of training content and adherence to Training standards.
• LMS Management: Ensure proper understanding and administration of Sun King’s learning management systems, increasing user activity and engagement through the deployment of engaging content for staff, agents, cleaning up and aligning team data when required.
• Onboarding and Induction: Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new field staff and sales agents with regional mentors, providing them with the necessary knowledge and tools to perform their roles effectively.
• Training Needs Assessment: Identify training needs and gaps within Sun King through regular assessments and feedback from field staff, sales agents, and other departments and develop targeted training initiatives to address those needs.
• Training Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to improve training outcomes.
• Training Content Development: Develop and maintain training content regularly, including training slides, aids etc, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for future reference.
• Pilot Training Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams deploying pilots and regional mentors, to ensure alignment of pilot training plans with pilot objectives
• Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Product Development and other departments to ensure alignment of training programs with business objectives and product updates.
• Training Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to field staff and sales agents, addressing their training-related queries, challenges with the LMS etc. to ensure continuous improvement in performance.
• RM Performance management: Onboard and provide ongoing coaching and support to Regional Mentors across the country, ensuring that the team meets their Key Performance Indicators.
• Training Compliance: Ensure compliance with all training-related regulations, policies, and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, data protection, and ethical practices.
• Training Reporting: Prepare regular training reports and analytics, highlighting key performance indicators, training outcomes, and recommendations for improvement to senior management.

You might be a strong candidate if you
• Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources, Education) or equivalent experience.
• Are experienced in managing a team.
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years proven experience in training and development, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy industry.
• Have strong knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theories.
• Are excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
• Possess strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Have an analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Are flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Are willing to travel extensively within the country.
