Scope of work
Under the supervision of Oxfam, the consultant will be required to document the pilot through a documentary, video clips, a case study and stills. The documentary will specifically cover a group of youth in Korogocho market, prior identified by Oxfam, carrying out businesses within the food value chain. It will cover aspects along food production using space saving technologies, value addition, food recovery and waste management. Reference will also be made to the policy work and relevant past initiatives done jointly within Nairobi County. The main audience of the products are potential donors and strategic partners. It will primarily be used to showcase the project activities to potential donors as a means of proving the viability of the project concept and its potential for impact if implemented to scale. To potential strategic partners, the documentary should be able to present opportunities for collaboration. Both potential donors and strategic partners should be able to visualize the possibilities presented by a wider scope of the project and their involvement.

Deliverables
The consultant will provide:
1. A 4-minute-long documentary (with subtitles) exported in Full HD (1920×1080px), high-bitrate (15-20Mbps) video files encoded using H264 compression in MP4 format with square pixels, fixed frame rate, progressive scan, and stereo AAC audio compression at 128kbps.
2. At least two short (1-2 minutes) videos of project beneficiaries in the main documentary, full with b-roll and Oxfam and partners’ brands (these are meant for our twitter platform).
3. A case study capturing the pilot highlighting different themes e.g., environmental conservation, job creation, income, or products for low-income groups, with a focus on women and youth through their core business.

4. At least 30 high-quality photographs/stills on the same subject matter described in the “scope of work” section above. All photos must be captioned and delivered in a Hi-Res format e.g. (Tiff or a RAW equivalent of at least 10Mbs per photo) and not JPEGs, and fulfil the following additional usability criteria:
a) Photographed from a variety of angles (e.g., wide, and medium shots, close up portraits and extreme close ups.

b) Properly filled consent forms for ALL photography subjects, including separate forms for children (if any) signed and consented to by a parent or guardian.
All products as developed and packaged shall remain full property of Oxfam with no transferred ownership or use by any entity whatsoever without prior written permission.
All above products must be accompanied by properly filled consent forms for ALL subjects.

Assignment Duration & Schedule
The likely start date for the consultancy is 13th February 2023. The producer will complete all deliverables by 10th March 2023.

Tax and VAT arrangements
Oxfam in Kenya will deduct a 5% withholding tax from the consultancy fees which will be in conformity with the prevailing government rates and submit the same to the Government of Kenya. The consultant will be entitled to a copy of the tax submission certificate on request.

Remuneration
Full payment of the sum to be paid upon submission of the final outputs/ and satisfactory completion of each assignment to the quality set out in the scope of work, incorporating suggestions and recommendations from Oxfam.

• The selected consultant must demonstrate understanding and commitment to Oxfam’s safeguarding and ethical values during content gathering.
• Full payment of the sum to be paid upon submission of the final outputs/ and satisfactory completion of each assignment to the quality set out in the scope of work, incorporating suggestions and recommendations from Oxfam.
