Technical Learnership Program
As part of our ongoing commitment to developing top talent, we are enhancing the Technical Learnership Program within Dimension Data East Africa. This is a structured Programme that has both on the job practical skills and theoretical elements that will help apprentices gain necessary competences and workplace experience.
Dimension Data will be selecting a group of young and innovative minds, who are enthusiastic and passionate about technology, hungry to continuously develop their skills within the ICT industry in the areas of Enterprise Networking and Security, Communication and Collaboration, Data Center management and Cloud solutions.
To ensure that one is successful during this Programme, candidates need to be determined to work at a rapid paced environment and be proactive in learning and upskilling themselves.
Furthermore, this Programme requires individuals who are self-starters and are willing to go the extra mile to accelerate their skills and to ensure their relevance in the market today.

Successful apprentices will sit under a team of experienced technical engineers that will work together on assignments which includes new project implementations and ongoing technical fault resolution within clients’ environment.
They will also be assigned individual technical mentors also known as buddies that they will be accountable to on the day-to-day engagement.
This program will run for 12 months within which continuous assessments will be conducted every 3 months to gauge skills gained and address any challenges that might be faced.
