Supply & Co-Packing Planner

Job Description
Inventory and SLOBS
• Responsible for overseeing Inventory holdings along the region and participating in short- and medium-term inventory planning.
• Responsible for local inventory levels; balance between intended service level and optimal inventory holdings.
• Keeping track of Overstock and Slow-Moving items and Working with Sales and Marketing teams to propose actions to deplete them.
• Continuously evaluate inventory policy in terms of safety stock and average coverage days and make necessary improvements based on business updates.
• Defining local Inventory policies, with a focus on improving cash position by efficiently managing the inventory.
• Measuring Slow Movers and Overstock and Inventory Holdings, absolute value, and as % of a year’s coverage

Co-packing
• Preparing co-packing and distribution plan for replenishing items
• Ensuring packaging materials used in co-packing is available
• Planning for labor to be used in co-packing
• Co-ordinating with warehousing to ensure items to be co-packed are issued on time
• Monitoring to ensure all the items issued for co-packed are done in full
• Ensure 100% availability of co-packed items to the customers

Supply planning
• Responsible for analyzing business needs in terms of products and ensuring their availability.
• Driving Supply Planning activities to meet customer expectations in terms of Service Level while ensuring optimal stock holdings.
• Participating in monthly meetings with factory planners to review future forecasts and supply constraints.
• Participating in the local S&OP process.
• Defining replenishment process and methods (Re-Order level, minimum and maximum stock levels
• Ensuring intercompany orders for local warehouse replenishment are placed and firmed up and following up with factory planners until the order is shipped.
• Ensuring the best possible container optimization on inbound orders, to keep Freight-In costs as low as possible.
• Maintaining updated master data records of all items.
• Working closely with Marketing teams to ensure on-time availability of new products.
• Supporting and ensuring timely availability of promotional items
• Measuring Intercompany Orders accuracy, Fill Rate Service Level, in value and volume
• Purchase forecast preparation and sharing with factory team

Risk management
• Ensuring potential supply issues are identified and working with key stakeholders for resolution
• Responsible for anticipating, communicating, and bringing solutions for product shortages in local factory.
• Measuring Supply risk to ensure full supply of required demand to meet all the customer orders
• Analyzing the volumes requested in the Purchase forecast versus the volume produced/maximum capacity and push for more volumes in case of variance

• R Knowledge of basic inventory planning parameters such as Lead Time, Safety Stock, average coverage days, and inventory turnover.

• R Advanced excel knowledge
• R Develops best sourcing strategies and risk management strategies.
