JOB DETAILS:
Overview
The Supply Chain Executive will provide oversight and management of the company's overall supply chain and logistics in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. This will include:
• Collaboration with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
• Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
• Deliver solutions to procurement and logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality service within budgetary requirements.
• Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs.
• Monitor import and export of cargo and report any discrepancies.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers.
• Serve as secretary in procurement committee.
• Plan, manage and evaluate procurement and logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
• Create and implement best practice procurement and logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.

The person should have:
• Bachelor’s degree in BCom/ Supply Chain or related field required;
• 7 years of experience in procurementExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and procurement systems/software
