1. The Government of Kenya has received a CREDIT from the World Bank, International Development Assistant (IDA) to finance National Agricultural and Rural Inclusive Growth Project (NARIGP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract1 for Supply and delivery of bee hives with stand reinforced with lockable steel bars “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.”]

2. The County Government of Kilifi, through NARIGP now invites eligible suppliers to Supply and deliver of bee hives with stand reinforced with steel bars

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” [insert date of applicable Procurement Regulations edition as per legal agreement] (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from NARIGP KILIFI COUNTY OFFICES and inspect the bidding document during office hours 9.00am to 5.00pm at the address given below NARIGP, P.O.BOX 175-80108 KILIFI -KENYA

5. The bidding document in English may be obtained free of charge in the website : www.kilifi.go.ke

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before February 10th at 1130hrs. Electronic Bidding will [will not] be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
