INVITATION TO TENDER

CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, TESTING, COMMISSIONING AND MAITENANCE OF A NEW PASSENGER LIFT.

1. The Nairobi City County Assembly Service Board invites sealed tenders for the: Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance of a New Passenger Lift.

2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National TENDER] using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.

3. Further information can be obtained at the address below during office hours from NAIROBI CITY COUNTY ASSEMBLY PREMISES, LOCATED AT WABERA STREET, CITY HALL – ASSEMBLY WING, PROCUREMENT OFFICE ROOM 277, SECOND FLOOR, AS FROM 8AM – 1PM AND 2PM – 5PM, WEEK DAY AS FROM MONDAY – FRIDAY (EXCLUDING PUBLIC HOLIDAYS).

4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of KES 1,000.00 payable to Nairobi City County Assembly Account at the Co-operative Bank of Kenya, City Hall Branch, Account Number 01141232417500. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.

5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.nairobiassembly.go.ke or Public Procurement Information Portal: www.tenders.go.ke Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to; The Clerk, Nairobi City County Assembly Tel: 020 2216151 Email: clerk@nairobiassembly.go.ke

6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” of KES. 100,000.00 (Kenya Shillings One hundred thousand) valid for a period of 120 days from the date of tender opening.

7. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for a period of 120 days from the date of tender opening.

8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Wednesday, 01st February, 2023 at 12:00 Noon. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.

10. Late tenders will be rejected.

11. There will be a mandatory Site visit and pre-bid conference for all prospective bidders on 25th January, 2023 from 11.00AM to 1.00PM At City Hall Building, Wabera Street, Assembly Wing at Charter Hall Ground Floor
