JOB DETAILS:
Sociologist - Kenya
Context: For a project in the sanitation sector we are looking for a sociologist expert with extensive experience in Kenya.

Responsibility:
- Review/Preparation of the RAP report
- Review/Preparation of Stakeholders Engagement Plans (SEP) and monitoring implementation of the same
- Review/Preparation of Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) Plans and monitoring implementation of the same
- Resolving all projects issues to necessitate the smooth implementation of works. Activities will involve stakeholder consultations, occupational health and safety, gender mainstreaming, PAP negotiations and preparation of status reports on the implementation of RAP and social activities within the project.

Specific professional experience:
- at least eight (8) years’ experience in urban setups,
- Should have participated in at least one similar assignment in the last five (5) years.

Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate in sociology or any other social science discipline

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
