JOB DETAILS:
The Site Agent will be tasked with overseeing day-to-day operations and ensure the project is completed in time and within the allocated budget.
Reporting to: Project Manager
Supervises: Electrical Engineer
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a reliable Site Agent to plan projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.
You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects. .

Specific Duties:
• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
• Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
• Coordinating and supervising construction workers
• Selecting tools and materials being utilized in the project
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• Maintaining quality control procedures
• Assessing and minimizing risk in relation to the project
• Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
• Assist in negotiating contracts and securing permits and licenses

Skills and Attributes
• Competent in conflict and crisis management;
• Leadership and human resources management skills;
• Excellent time and project management skills;
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.

Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

Professional Qualifications
• Registered member of EBK.

Experience
• At least 8 - 10 years’ experience as a site agent undertaking large projects
