JOB DETAILS:
The African Academy of Sciences (AAS) is a non-aligned, non-political, not-for-profit pan African organization. The AAS's vision is to see transformed lives on the African continent through science. Our tripartite mandate is recognizing excellence through the AAS highly prestigious fellowship and award schemes, providing advisory and think tank functions for shaping Africa's Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) strategies and policies and implementing key Science, Technology and Innovation Programmes addressing Africa's developmental challenges. The AAS is seeking to recruit highly motivated and dynamic professional to the position; Senior Programme Officer - Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning. .

Responsibilities;
• This role will be managing all aspects of the DELTAS Africa social science programmes and overseeing the work of programme officers managing aspects of the social science programmes within DELTAS Africa.
• This role will contribute to the setting up of a system to support evidence-based programming and continuous and adaptive learning within the AAS and across our implementing partners.
