The Senior PM Role
Sendy is a product led organization and that means that our product managers should be able to use data and user insights to drive busines strategy and focus.
As a Senior PM you will not only be required to drive core product activities – market research, customer interviews, design sprints, feature prioritization, pricing and revenue modeling, defining and tracking success metrics, etc – but also to leverage product and market insights to influence the strategic direction of the product as well as coaching and mentoring other product people.

Successful outcomes
• Product vision; defining the north star for the product and aligning everyday product output to a longer-term goal. The North Star should keep different functions aligned and get the team inspired and excited to come to work each day
• Product growth; breakthroughs in product that come from a better understanding of customer needs leading to increased acquisition, retention and revenue
• Product culture; ensure that the team has a culture of continuous innovation through rapid prototyping, testing and learning
• Process; a hypothesis based product process that enables the product team to maximize learnings from users and our products
• Team; Increased productivity of the product team (product, growth, design & engineering) through clarity of strategy and implementation of agile processes
• Data; build a data driven culture within the organization where we use data to make decisions and identify areas of prioritization
• Multi-function solutions with all functonal roles involved in the solution design process
• Stakeholder alignment; ensure that everyone across the business has complete visibility and transparency on the roadmap and processes including our prioritization framework
• Customer segmentation; make sure we are serving the right customers and either changing the product to meet customer needs or changing the customers we are working with
• Mentorship and coaching of other members of the product organization with demonstrable growth in the people you manage

About you
• Above all you enjoy solving complex problems by reasoning from first principles and breaking down problems into their basic components
• A computer science related background
• Experience leading products from inception to growth
• Experience building and managing product teams
• Analytical mindset with ability to draw insights from data and make data-driven decisions
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence across multi-functional roles
• Excellent communication, both written and spoken
• Just as comfortable pitching to the CEO in a boardroom as you learning from a trader in an open air market
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and create order from chaos
