The CGIAR System Internal Audit Function (IAF) provides independent, risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight designed to add value and improve measures to manage System-wide risks within the CGIAR. The Internal Audit for America and Europe (i.e., IFPRI, CIAT, CIP, Bioversity) in Africa is hosted by the CIAT Regional Office in Nairobi, Kenya.
Position Summary:
CIAT on behalf of the Internal Audit for America and Europe, is seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to take up the position of Senior Internal Auditor. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining and evaluating the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the Organizations internal control systems and procedures, and recommending corrective actions to improve operations, enhance internal controls and reduce costs where possible. The Senior Internal Auditor will also be responsible for managing the activities of assigned audit projects to complete them in conformance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) audit standards, according to the timetables established in the audit terms of reference (ToRs).. .
