Basic job summary:
• The job holder will be responsible for overseeing the process of securing funding through research grants. Duties & Responsibilities: Grant Research
• Manage potential grant opportunities by continuously monitoring and identifying research grants. • Conduct Institutional research funding needs and perform relevant research to identify available authentic funding opportunities.
Proposal Development
• Manage proposal writing and submission.
• Establish quality assurance measures to guide and enhance quality of proposals submitted.
• Approve the training of proposal developers to increase the quality of proposals as well as the winning rate of proposals submitted.
• Guide the planning, budgeting and resource management of key proposals.
• Oversee the performance of submitted proposals. Grants & Compliance Management
• Manage the entire life cycle of a research grant from application to reporting.
• Audit compliance with grant requirement and regulations.
• Manage grant activities. Grants Relationship Management
• Build client relations and influence partners to increase research funding
• Manage relationships with funding agencies, donors and other stakeholders.
Minimum Academic Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field Experience:
• Over 7 Years working experience in a busy environment with a proven track record in business writing and proposal development with at least 4 years in a managerial position Competencies and Attributes
