Senior Frontend Engineer

About the job
We are seeking a resourceful and hands-on Senior Frontend Developer to join the rapidly growing development team. The ideal candidate should have a serious passion for user-centered design and development; believes in constantly evolving and improving through iteration, testing, user research, and experimentation; and has the agility to go from the whiteboard design of an application all the way to superior code implementation

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who will work as part of a team, and help in designing, developing, and delivering the technology and applications that totally powers every aspect of the business from driver onboarding and registration to real time maintenance and analytics, and also be a representative and ambassador for the team across the company as well as to external stakeholders.

We’re looking for folks with an interest in building products and tools, comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces. You’ll be building customer-facing products that will drive direct business impact and shape our long-term technical vision with a high-quality bar .Youll have the opportunity to learn and push the frontier of providing the best software experience to help companies grow. You’ll be encouraged to be metric and data-driven and to think creatively to help Autochek scale and get prepared for the new markets we are about to enter.

Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience as a frontend developer
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related programming degree
• Extensive web development experience (with associated portfolio) in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of data visualization and charting libraries (e.g. D3, Recharts, DC, C3, Plotly, etc.)
• Extensive experience in javascript programming and modern javascript frameworks like React, Vue, Backbone or Angular
• Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML
• Ability to create mockups and prototypes quickly
• Ability to interact with and integrate RESTful API platforms/endpoints
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g AWS)
• Propensity for proper documentation and source control
