JOB DETAILS:
Kenya Tea Development Agency Holdings Ltd is the holding company of 54 corporate shareholders who are the tea factory companies spread across 16 counties in Kenya and is a key player in the tea industry providing effective management services to the tea sector for efficient production, processing and marketing of high quality tea. KTDA (H) seeks to actualize its mission through investments in subsidiary companies along the tea value chain, KTDA (H) Ltd is seeking to recruit a highly proactive, creative, passionate and result-oriented professional in the position of Senior Executive Assistant. Reporting to KTDA Holdings Group CEO, the position will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and functional support in order to raise the level of efficiency and effectiveness in KTDA's operations.
Key Responsibilities,
• Handle external and internal communication directed to the Chief Executive Officer,
• . Ensure effective management of the Chief Executive Officer's diary and booking appointments for and on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer;
• Coordinate duties of the support staff assigned to the CEO's office:
• Organize meetings and ensure the CEO is well prepared for meetings;
• Coordinate and take minutes of various meetings as assigned;
• Provide logistical support at various functions as assigned;
• Facilitate and arrange Executive Team meetings;
• Maintain a proper document handling system in the office by keeping an efficient filing and retrieval system; .
• Attend to inquiries and liaise with the appropriate staff as necessary to ensure that needs are satisfactorily attended to:
• Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for and on behalf of the CEO;
• Work with the Executive Team to coordinate the CEO's outreach activities.
• Follow up on contacts made by the CEO to cultivate ongoing relationships.
• Replenish office materials such as snacks, printer supplies, paper, office supplies, etc.
• Provide hospitality to all CEO guests and help to create a welcoming environment.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Communication or related field
• Professional Diploma in Public Relations and Diplomacy or equivalent
• A Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a similar role.
• Team player with excellent inter-personal
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess a high degree of integrity, honesty and confidentiality.
• Reliable knowledge and good understanding of the corporate governance mandate and operations
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Quick learner with flexibility to work extra hours to achieve goal.
• Have good knowledge in the use of MS office packages
