JOB DETAILS:
JOB REF: MN 8192 Full Time
Our client is a Trading Company dealing in general industrial tools, equipment and consumables. They also deal in workshop support services and PPE. Their mode of selling is ‘Direct Selling’ where the sales representatives visit all the customers, introduce their product using catalogs and demonstration to close a sale. They wish to recruit a sales representative.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Reporting: Reports directly to the Sales Manager
• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
• Deliver goods to customer as need be and collect all the overdue accounts.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers.
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related Targets as needed.
• Any other duties as delegated by the management.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must possess minimum two years’ experience in the sales
• Possession of a degree in Marketing or Technical degree and demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach). Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software
• Skills/Qualifications: Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales
• Have a valid driver’s license
