Description
StepWise is partnering with Zalego Academy to hire experienced Sales Executives to help drive the business forward by seeling our IT and software products. StepWise is making an impact by providing people with physical disabilities in the developing world with meaningful employment in the digital economy. Our highly motivated and skilled teams located in East Africa perform data processing tasks such as transcription and digitization, data labelling and annotation for machine learning and artificial intelligence data sets, and content moderation. StepWise has offices in Austin, Texas and Nairobi, Kenya.

• Conduct cold calls to prospective clients and set appointments.
• Qualify prospects as per sales plan, budget and decision making.
• Offer products and services to qualified clients through demos.
• Handle sales process from prospecting through close and understand process.
• Build and document sales activities in company CRM software and document activities.
• Prepare and engage in business development team status meetings.
• Engage in educational meetings on product development and updates.
• Coordinate with management team to enhance sales presentation.
• Focus on horizontal markets and handle key prospects relationships.
• Run demos for prospects, develop presentations and adapt sales collateral.
• Run live and web based presentations.
• Meet productivity metrics as per management team’s directions.
• Handle customer presentation, quotes, RFIs and RFPs.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration, Sales or any related course
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience selling software and IT products
• Must be diligent, aggressive and people oriented.
• Superb interpersonal skills including ability to quickly build rapport with clients
• Self-motivated and result driven
• A keen interest in IT
• Customer Service skillls
• Must be a fast learner and have a passion for sales
• Excellent Communication skills; Both written and oral
• Must exhibit confidence and an outgoing personality
• Creativity and commercial awareness
