SparePap limited is an e-commerce B-B-C innovative business which aims to bridge the supply chain gap in the vehicle spare parts, accessories and services market in Africa.
The business aims to streamline the accessibility of specialized and ordinary vehicle spare parts by aggregating motor spare merchants in one online platform and overlaying it with a portal that provides access to highly qualified and customer-rated mechanics for the convenience of motor vehicle owners.
To support this expanded effort, SparePap limited is seeking a;
SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
We are looking for a resilient, resourceful business development executive to contribute to the growth of our company by focusing on but not limited to merchant acquisition, lead generation and prospect management as this role will garner and meet with potential clients.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement clear business strategies in the region to deliver set targets and growth on merchant acquisition on tier 1, 2 and 3 merchants in line with the overall company targets; coordinating business generation activities.
• Identify potential leads on merchants, procure new clients and develop plans to support the growth of existing customers; developing customized targeted merchant acquisition and sales strategies.
• Participate in all but not limited to merchant acquisition activities and work in line with the sales and marketing plan for the various divisions of the company including but not limited to merchant acquisition, service centres and mechanics in order to exceed revenues and targets.
• Identify new revenue opportunities and generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable solutions.
• Maintaining positive customer relationships and keep a close eye on client’s feedback to ensure that our products and services always exceed expectations.
• Providing status reports on actions and learnings which can be shared within the company’s skills and interests as well as maintaining daily visibility on results and actions.
• Monitor competitor activities and market intelligence while keeping abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
• Work within a team and support other team members to deliver excellent results and meet set targets.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Degree in marketing or business administration.
• Extensive sales experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Great networking and negotiation skills with a proven track record of closed sales.
• Intuitive and insightful particularly regarding human behavior.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication, presentation skills and goal-oriented.
• Commercial awareness.
• Ability to sell value and create credibility.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism yet affable disposition.
