JOB DETAILS:
• United Women Sacco is a regulated Non-Withdrawal Deposit taking Sacco with a diverse membership of professional and business persons.
• In line with its strategic objectives, the Society seeks to recruit a full-time Marketing & Business Development Manager based in Nairobi. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will grow membership, increase awareness and visibility, identify business opportunities, review products and services and negotiate partnerships while maintaining extensive knowledge of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase market share and support
achievement of the Society’s goals and objectives.
• Assist in implementing and reviewing marketing policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing members to identify opportunities for new business.
• Design and develop products and services that will satisfy various market segments
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to members to strengthen relationships.
• Manage, maintain, and grow all social media assets of the Society
• Engage in public relations activities that reinforce the Society’s brand image
• Manage the marketing budget
• Organize and manage all Society events including AGMs, SGM member education and trainings.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications & Experience
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a business-related field from a recognized institution
• At least five years marketing management experience in the financial industry/sector
• Experience working with graphic designers for marketing collateral
• Membership in a relevant professional body is desirable

Competences and Skills
1. Must demonstrate ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities and work under strict deadlines.
2. Should have strong analytical skills, a creative outlook, and the ability to plan and evaluate marketing goals.
