JOB DETAILS:
The Job
As a Risk Data Analyst, you will be responsible for utilizing data analysis to identify and evaluate potential risks/fraud on the platform. You will use your expertise in statistics, data analysis, and programming to develop and maintain risk models/flags and dashboards. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions to identify, mitigate, and monitor risk & fraud. You do this by:
• Analysis of large datasets to identify patterns and trends.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
• Managing data from other sources, some of which cannot be captured on our platform.
• Communicating findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuously monitoring and updating risk models/flags to ensure they remain accurate and relevant.
• Creating visualizations and reports to effectively communicate results.
• Keeping up-to-date with new developments in data science and risk management to continuously improve processes and methodologies.

About you
• You think logically and come up with practical solutions in order to solve issues. You have an eye for the smaller details, and ensure that tasks are followed up in a timely manner. You're a problem solver and can work well independently.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, computer science).
• A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in a data analytics role.
• Proficient in data visualization and reporting using tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with R (or Python) programming language and relevant packages is desirable.
• Familiarity with machine learning and predictive modeling.
• Strong communication skills to clearly present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
