JOB DETAILS:
The incumbent will be responsible for the general operation of Front Office, Guest Services, Rapid Response, Concierge, Butlers and Porters in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards laid out by Management to ensure maximum internal and external customer satisfaction. Our client is a leading resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania with a large number of high-end guests and they require a qualified Resort Front of House Manager .

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree in: Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or any equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution
• At least 4 years experienced in Front Office operations with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity in a 5 star environment.
• Must be Honest, Trustworthy and Reliable.
• Demonstrated professional competence in Hotel management work.
• Customer service oriented with a positive and outgoing can-do attitude and one who smiles easily.
• Must be tech savvy and have a working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office & Opera experience essential)
• MICROS experience will be an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership and team building skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and must fully comprehend the travel industry distribution landscape.
• Fluency in English & Swahili are essential and knowledge of a foreign language will be an added advantage
• Must be of impeccable appearance, should be able to work with very little supervision, should be goal driven, should be able to multi-task, should be clean, neat and with a keen eye for detail
• Candidate must be willing to relocate to Tanzania.
