 Under the overall leadership of the Programme Director, the Regional Programme Manager has the overall responsibility for effectively and efficiently managing AAH-I Somalia in building strategic partnerships, resource mobilisation, advocacy, leadership and management to contribute to MH

 Mission and Vision. The position is responsible for cross-cutting corporate quality management, supporting in designing operational monitoring/compliance mechanisms to improve systems and procedures, sound design of and overseeing monitoring and evaluation, periodic analysis of the business units, and ensuring that information collected is reflected upon, used to improve ongoing projects and is incorporated into high quality grant proposals and reports. Qualification

•  A Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject [lntemational Development, Project Management or one of AAH—|'s programming areas — public health, disaster management, agriculture, etc.]
  
•  Proven track record of leadership, with at least 8 years progressive senior management experience;
  
•  Strong organization and delegation abilities; high performance and quality standards; negotiation skills; ability to motivate teams and inspire teamwork;
  
•  A very good knowledge of global humanitarian issues and trends, especially The Horn and Great Lakes, coupled with interest and ability to analyze impact and opportunities of unfolding events on donor funding.
  

Skllls and Competence

•  Strong management and supervisory skills and experience.
  
•  Strong analytical [both political and organisational] skills with good attention to detail.
  
•  Ability to provide coaching, mentoring and leadership to team members.
