JOB DETAILS:

  The Global Development Incubator (GDI) and CSAF developed Stawi Africa, a market-based platform that seeks to mobilize $700M in private sector lending over the next five years to inclusive agricultural SMEs. GDI is recruiting for a Regional Director to manage all launch and implementation activities in East Africa, including building and leading a growing team, selecting and supervising a facility administrator, and developing and stewarding partnerships with lenders, TA providers, industry alliances, and government agencies..

  Job Responsibilities: Position Requirements;
At least 15+ years of experience in banking, impact investing, strong understanding of agricultural finance for SMEs, experience in E. Africa,
• Passion to mobilize finance to build prosperity in E. Africa
• Track record designing and implementing innovative financial mechanisms
• Highly networked in the financial services sector in East Africa
• Skills managing multi-stakeholder projects with government, private actors, international donors and multilateral institutions
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams
