JOB DETAILS:
The Quality of Care Associate will participate in the design, implementation and monitoring of the project. Specific roles will include coordination of project activities, identify private pharmacy and providers, capacity building of the providers, and collection of routine data collection in -line with the set data collection system/ structure. The Associate will be expected to produce high quality project reports, based on guidance from the senior quality of care advisor and travel to various sites within a specified geographical area, as appropriate to the objectives of the project.

Summary of Responsibilities
• Plans and organizes facility assessment, community assessment to identify intervention facilities, youth champions and peer educators. and upgrades including providing MASU trainings, mentorship programs, and data collection to improve service delivery
• Participates in the development of training needs, agendas, and presentations for VCAT and MASU trainings for both pharmacy and youth champions.
• Develop quarterly work plans and activity budgets using provided templates in collaboration with in-country implementation teams.
• Organizes and implements activities while ensuring timely delivery of outputs.
• Establishes and develops links with partner organizations, institutions and interested groups to inform implementation of the project and engage them in project activities.
• Documents project lessons learned, best practices and challenges and shares the results within the organization and with the stakeholders
• Conduct regular programmatic and support supervision to all intervention facilities to ensure the facilities are providing high quality abortion Care and contraceptive services
• Contributes to documentation of project outcomes, shares results organizationally and as appropriate to stakeholders.
• May manage or forecast expenditures for budgeting purposes
• Performs other duties as assigned
Reports to Directors and Managers in reference to workflow, deadlines, reports, and projects
Maintains relationships with regional service facilities and other non-profits/governments in-country as necessary
Works with senior advisors, managers, directors, and other departments in reference to reports, planning, policies, and procedures

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 3-4 years of experience required

Experience
• At least 1-2 years of experience working in health or medical field required
• Experience in Human centre design is desirable
• Experience in selfcare is added advantage
• Experience working with special population is added advantage
• Must work well in a multi-cultural environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced degree in related field
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Experience working in a non-profit organization
• Project and budget management experience
