JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
This role is expected to identify, manage business risks and apply quality assurance to Smart systems & processes. Through this office, Smart will define and start on the road map for compliance and certification on relevant ISO standards. Quality assurances for systems and processes shall be executed by this officer.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Develop and implement a quality assurance & control Strategy.
• Participate in the development and enforcement of service & operational excellence levels for all business functions.
• Define wastage for each department and formulate strategies to eliminate periodic progress reviews.
• Formulate and execute internal risk management strategy.
• Identify risks and promote change in the organization's risk management strategies.
• Proactively communicate awareness of situations leading to erosion of customer trust, financial exposure, or risk to the corporate brand to allow leadership to take corrective actions.
• Partner with other corporate functions to provide feedback on methods, tools, and processes to gain further insights for adoption by the organization.
• Recommend and assist in the adoption of globally acknowledged testing and development approaches for solutions, systems & processes.
• Monitor implementation of auditors’ recommendations.
• Participate in document preparation, enforcement, and review of all standard operating procedures for all the business units.
• Identify external entities for third party qualification and certification and maintain their SLAs with Smart.
• Provide and drive the roadmap for quality systems and processes as per the business strategy.
• Formulate and lead in the achievement of ISO9001 in line with the corporate strategy.
• Provide relevant operational and legal advisory to protect the business from unnecessary exposure.
• Provide periodic audit and compliance reports on all facets of business and enforce the achievement of recommendations.
• Research the latest trends and issues in the industry, determining the scope of the internal audit accordingly.
• Develop annual growth plans, after discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science, Computer Science/IT/BBIT or related Business Course.
• At least 3 years of experience in driving quality ISO certification strategy.
• Experience having worked in a risk and audit department is an added advantage.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Have a broad knowledge of IT in healthcare and related aspects.
• Strong and well-developed report writing skills and attention to detail.
• Quick learner with demonstrated product & processes knowledge, professionalism, and good project management skills.
• Excellent Customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills –both written and verbal.
• Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills and result oriented.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, and heavy workloads and remain calm under pressure with a high degree of individual responsibility.
