TENDER NOTICE

The Principal Ikuu Boys High School through the Ministry of Education invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for the:

PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF DORMITORY BLOCK SECOND FLOOR (RIGHT WING) AT IKUU BOYS HIGH SCHOOL - THARAKA NITHI COUNTY.

TENDER NO. IBHS/RW/2nd FLOORRW/2023

Interested Contractors may obtain tender documents from Principal Ikuu Boys High School, upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Kshs 2,000 to be paid in cash at the accounts office before 4.00pm on normal working days.

Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated bellow as a minimum, supported by relevant
documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation.

The mandatory conditions to be complied with are:-
A. Copy of registration/incorporation certificate
B. Copy ofValid tax compliance certificate
C. Valid NCA Reg. certificates and NCA practicing license.
D. Form of tender (properly filled, signed and stamped)
E. Bid security from a reputable bank or PPRA approved insurance firm, of Kshs 2% of the tender sum valid for One hundred and twenty(120) days from the date of tender opening
F. Recent Copy of CRI2 for companies /Business registration certificate for business name (Records relating the company /
Business name held by the company registry as from l5^th January, 2022 to the date of tender opening
G. Submission of Original and Copy of the tender document
H. Valid single trading license
I. Dully filled,stamped and signed confidential business questionnaire
J. Document properly serialized
K. There will be a mandatory site visit on Thursday 12^th January, 2023 from 9a.m.- 12 noon

Tenders in plain sealed envelopes, marked tender number on the right -hand side corner and bearing no indication of the tenderer should be addressed to:

OR, placed in the tender box situated at the administration block so as to be received not later than 10.00 a.m.of Thursday 17th January,2023.Submitted bids shall be opened publicly at the School Board room immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.

Late bids will be returned/remain unopened.

Prices quoted must remain valid for a minimum period of One hundred and twenty (120) days from the opening date of the tender
