JOB DETAILS:
The Recruiting entity is one of the largest Pension Schemes in the Country with an asset base of over Ksh 15B. The Pension Scheme has over Kshs 11 Billion invested m one (1) Commercial Building, residential properties and vacant plots spread across the country. The Scheme is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following position:

1. Property Manager/Project Manager
The role is responsible for the implementation of the scheme's strategic plan with respect to investments in real estate and in compliance with the Scheme's investment Guidelinesand Regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to supervise internal and external outsourced agency, property management and facilities management with respect to:
• Be the Internal Lead transaction advisor and driver of the pension Scheme's property disposal strategy by favorably positioning the properties.
• Supervise and monitor the performance of all assets, income and expenses related to the Scheme's property.
• Ensure the properties are in good state of repair and maintenance to enhance their valuations.
• In liaison with the Pension Scheme's financial advisors, optimize the properly portfolio holdings from a return perspective.
• Ensure and Supervise the preparation and maintenance of regularly updated asset register for all properties and their core installations.
• Develop and super vise implementation of Property Procedures and Operations Manual, and
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligation with respect to the Scheme's property holdings.

Person Specification
• Bachelor's Degree in property related field (Land Economics. Real Estate. Land Management. Properly Management etc.).
• A minimum of fifteen (15) year's work experience in the property field in a reputable organization, five (5) of which should be al a leadership or senior management level.
• Must be a Registered Valuer by Valuers Registration Board in Kenya.
