JOB DETAILS:
ARC Skills Training – Kenya provides selected training courses at conferencing venues in Nairobi. Our courses are delivered by highly qualified consultants who are not merely lecturers but rather specialists consulting in their particular field. We are also able to run any of our other training courses at your company depending on the number of delegates. .
Job Responsibilities:
• Create a plan for successful implementation of the project within set deadlines and profitability targets
• Identify, acquire, groom and maintain a high-quality workforce for the project working closely with the HR department
• Oversee Train-the-Trainer and certification of the project personnel deployed for the training and development project
• Oversee the creation of curriculum and other such support material required for successful delivery of the project
• Design / oversee the development of world-class practical assessments including trainee monitoring and audit post-training (and the delivery of high impact training report and recommendations to client)
• Work closely with the client teams to schedule and support the project including the identification of on-the-job / on-site training opportunities according to work schedules
• Build relationships with critical senior management stakeholders in the client and get their ownership of the project
• Manage day-to-day operations of the project
• Constantly seek opportunities for up selling / cross selling our range of products with the client. Once identified, closely work with the internal teams to submit a proposal and acquire the order.
• Develop and monitor key performance lead and lag indicators with an emphasis on creating improved performance through training

Job Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree with post-graduate degree strongly preferred
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly preferred
• Engineering degree an advantage
• Working knowledge of Vocational Qualification framework, Occupational Standards and Qualification Packs.
• Excellent presentation/facilitation skills
• Ability to manage and communicate effectively with diverse international teams. Must be able to work within a cross cultural setting.
• Ability to negotiate diplomatically and function well under pressure
• Consulting level presentation creation skills; ability to make effective, high-level presentations to senior client personnel
Job Education Requirements: Not Specified
Job Experience Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in the construction, contracting, property management or similar industry/sector, OR
• 10+ years of experience in project management for youth development and training programs in an international context
• Experience in vocational, artisan level skills training preferred
• Experience overseeing or personally delivering curriculum / content development
• Experience designing or overseeing the design of world-class assessments and monitoring / auditing trainees (including delivering post training reports)
• Previous Master trainer experience an asset
