JOB DETAILS:
The Girl Child Network (GCN) is a National Network of Organizations working to improve programming in the children sector through advocating and promoting the rights of children particularly the girl child. Within the Education program, we are implementing a project dubbed Every Girl in School (EGIS) whose objective is to ensure children enjoy and benefit from learning improve on enrolment retention, performance and transition from one level to the next. The EGIS project shall be implemented in Kajiado and Turkana Counties for a period of 3 Years.

1. Project Coordinator-Based in Nairobi with regular field visits position)
The Project Coordinator will oversee implementation of the Every Girl in School Project within the two project target counties.
S/He shall be responsible for Networking with relevant stakeholders to enhance enrollment. Retention and performance of Children in school

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Education Social Work, Community Development or any other relevant degree from a recognized institution of higher learning with a minimum of Five (5) years' experience in similar position in a national or international NGO.
S/he should have strong knowledge on education issues at both the national and regional level possess good communication documentation and report writing skills.
