Your Role
You will work as part of the Eritrea programme team. You will lead on monitoring and evaluating impact and effectiveness of the Eritrea development and humanitarian Programmes that include DFID Match Funded Projects and emergency Appeal funded projects. You will work with the Eritrea programme staff and partners and lead in supporting them to develop, review, and analyze Monitoring and Evaluation tools (M&E) and data, strengthen the capacity of CAFOD staff and partners to use M&E tools and Programme/project M&E frameworks, and lead on M&E communication, learning and information sharing on Eritrea Programmes/projects. You will support in conducting project evaluations and in reviewing project evaluation reports.
Your Profile
You will be fluent in English with excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills, inter-cultural sensitivity, confidence in dealing with a wide range of NGO partners and ability to write good quality M&E reports and case studies. You are required to have experience of developing and reviewing M&E tools and frameworks, data base, input analysis and interpretation and conducting project impact analysis. We also expect you to be able to demonstrate knowledge of developing and implementing monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of Programmes/projects and an ability to build cooperative, professional relationships with partners in compliance with the CAFOD partnership principles.
