Our integrated approach combines the legal and technical work of mapping and documentation with the good governance work of resolving land conflicts, ensuring intra-community equity, and strengthening mechanisms for accountable and participatory sustainable management of land and natural resources. In Kenya, Namati supports communities and the Government of Kenya to use the Community Land Act to strengthen land tenure security, strengthen local land governance, enhance women’s land rights, and support communities to more sustainably manage land and natural resources.
