JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a Production Manager to work in our busy Development department. Reporting into our Unit Manager, together you will be responsible for the day to day running of the department. The team requires production management support across a large and diverse portfolio of ideas. Budgeting, forward planning and often, quick turn-around staffing forms a large part of the role. This position is to work with the team at Television Centre, London, on a hybrid working model. Flexible working will be considered.

Role Responsibility
As an experienced Production Manager you will, oversee taster shoots, and write budgets and schedules for development ideas.
• The role will be to work with the full development team suggesting changes and innovative ways to hit available funding and delivery deadlines. You’ll work closely with the Unit Manager and contribute to the strategic overview of the department, providing production management support to colleagues.
• Following successful commissions you will play a part in the smooth transition of projects from development into production.
• You’ll drive innovation, change and ensure continuous improvements are implemented throughout the production process. You’ll thrive on remaining calm, organised and focused.

Are you the right candidate?
• We are looking for someone experienced in working in a busy team.
• Experience of delivering a range of productions and working to fast turnarounds.
• Experience of delivering productions which require International filming.
• Excellent influencing, persuading and problem solving skills
• A thorough understanding and experience of delivering to a range of commissioners including rights & complex deliverables
• Excellent project management skills and proven experience of helping to deliver large scale projects with complex filming requirements
• Proven track record of being organised and responsive in fast paced environments
