JOB DETAILS:
We're looking for an enthusiastic, idealistic Product Designer who loves to create innovative, intuitive and efficient tools to distill product features that have business impact!
You’ll be working collaboratively with our global team and workforce of over 3,000 data annotation specialists - a large number of whom are located in East Africa - to combine the proper combination of software applications, data collection and reporting, and business process reengineering. We're playing in a huge space with lots of technical complexities. To help with this mission, we're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Product Designer who loves to design innovative, intuitive, and efficient tools for Annotators, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Project Managers. You will be reporting to the Product Design Manager as part of the larger Product Team.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of experience in B2B/B2E product design and AI/ML with an intuitive sense of great design. You’re somebody who understands the technical implementation details, can work cross-functionally, knows how to make tradeoff decisions, how to launch and iterate on a product, and can launch successful products into the market.

Responsibilities:
• Design accessible and joyful user interfaces which showcase our advanced annotation technologies (including in 3D scenes)
• Design for client ML engineers as well for associates who just started their digital literacy
• Create intuitive user interactions within the platform for improved user experience
• Facilitate workshops to collaboratively solve problem with diverse teams
• Support the whole design process from high level user flows and wireframes sketching to high-fidelity and interactive prototype
• Collaborate closely with our team of designers, researchers, engineers and product managers to bring ideas to life
• Advocate for a design-centered approach and iterative design process within the organization
• Reframe and scope design challenges from ambiguous business requirements

Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in design or an equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience designing interactive solutions to B2B /B2E products or other complex products
• You are an experimented Figma user and you have strong UI design skills
• You have experience working with Design system and contributing to its evolution
• You are passionate about design and have excellent problem solving skills
• You have workshop facilitation skills
• You have a portfolio showcasing multiple complex projects you’ve helped solve with design
• You know a thing or two about web applications and its design limitations and you are used to working with engineers
• You are interested in Human-AI Interaction and want to create impact with design

Preferred qualifications
• You have some experience working on AI/ML products
• Prior experience working in a startup environment
• Be self driven
