Intro
Floward has become a leader in online flowers. We’re a vertically integrated business, meaning we handle orders from A-Z: sourcing flowers from the best farms around the world, designing products in-house, arranging orders same-day with our team of florists, and executing last-mile delivery. To do this well we need to build relationships and work closely with flower farms in Kenya. We are looking for someone on the ground to help us achieve this.

Location - Kenya, working remotely
Reporting to - Head of Operations in Kuwait

Job description
• Assists with the companies flower procurement requirements from Kenyan farms. Flowers to be purchased include (but are not limited to) Spray roses, Alstroemeria, Carnations and greens
• Evaluates suppliers to achieve the best possible quality and pricing.
• Works closely with the Head of Operations to work on supply chain planning for all countries across the group.
• Liaises with all country managers and ops managers to understand their procurement requirements
• Works closely with the Finance team to ensure they are aligned with the procurement process and issuing payments accordingly.
• Routinely keeps track of all orders and shipments, and updating all key personally across Operations and Finance.


Requirements
• 3yrs+ experience working within the flower industry

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
