JOB DETAILS:
IDB Capital Limited, a Development Finance Institution is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Co-operatives established by the Government of Kenya in 1973. Its mandate is to further economic development of Kenya by assisting in the promotion, establishment, expansion and modernization of medium and large industrial enterprises.
IDB seeks to recruit an experienced, highly motivated and results oriented individual to fill the following position;

PROCUREMENT OFFICER - JOB REF: MN 7392

The job holder undertakes the corporations’ procurement activities as per the requirements and regulations in place. S/He will be responsible for rendering procurement Professional Advice to the Accounting Officer.

JOB PROFILE

• Establish and implement procurement internal controls systems and procedures
  
• Consolidate the Annual procurement and disposal plans
  
• Prepares procurement I supplies reports, and submits to relevant authorities as per regulations
  
• Participates in stock taking exercise. Asset Register updating Br Disposal Activities
  
• Consolidates users requirements to ensure economies in procurement process

PERSON PROFILE

Prospective applicants for this position should have the following qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Business related field/procurement
  
• Professional qualification in procurement a must.
  
• Practicing license mandatory
  
• Membership to professional body (e.g. KISM)
  
• At least 4 years of relevant experience of which 2 should be with a government Agency
  
• Knowledge of public procurement authority & disposal act (PPAD 2015) and public procurement Authority procedures and guidelines a requirement.
