REGIONAL CENTRE FOR MAPPING OF RESOURCES FOR DEVELOPMENT
The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD), is an intergovernmental organization with twenty (20) contracting member States in Southern and Eastern Africa Region. The Centre provides services to member States, clients and partners in the fields of surveying, mapping, remote sensing, Geographical Information System, Global Positioning System, ICT and in natural resources and environmental management. The Centre plays a significant role in promoting the development of geo-information and allied information communication technologies, provision of data and information; and building of capacity of member States in the application of geo-information for sustainable development.
