A leading National Agency is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and highly motivated Kenyan citizen
Principal Resource Mobilization Officer
Grade 4
1 Position on Permanent and Pensionable Terms
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Strategy and Performance, the successful candidate will be responsible for initiating development of policies and strategies that will enhance revenue streams.
Job Responsibilities:
• Initiating development of policies, strategies procedures, guidelines for resource mobilization and partnership development;
• Developing and reviewing proposals for resource mobilization
• Reviewing external proposals for resource and technical assistance
• Ensuring implementation and reviewing of resource mobilization, strategies and programmes;
• Overseeing the development of strategies and work planning for resource mobilization and partnership creation:
• Initiating partnership dialogue with bilateral partners and international financial institutions;
• Overseeing coordination, planning, development, and management of a public and private sector collaboration for resource mobilization;
• Developing systems and procedures to monitor the collection of the organization’s resources:
• Advising management on potential opportunities for resource mobilization and partnership developments;

Job Qualifications:
• At least eight (8) years’ work experience, three (3) of which must be in a supervisory position.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Development, Development Studies, International Relations, Public Administration and Business Administration or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution:
• A Master’s Degree in any of the following fields: Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Development, Development Studies, International Relations, Public Administration and Business Administration or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution:
• A Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution:
• Be a member of a relevant professional body where applicable:
• Proficiency in computer applications:
• Demonstrated results in work performance;
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of Constitution.
• Personal attributes such as; good communication skills, demonstrated ability to mobilize resources, proposal development skills, planning and analytical skills communication and reporting skills and interpersonal skills

ii) A detailed CV indicating their current and previous employers, positions held, current and expected salary, level of education and names of at least three professional referees
iii) Copies of academic and professional certificates
iv) Copy of National Identification Card or Passport
v) Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations
vi) Valid Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
vii) Valid Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
viii) Current Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and
ix) Current Report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
