JOB DETAILS:
Purpose
The job holder will responsible for review the development of strategic plans, policies development, and research for the Board.

Job And Person Specifications
The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail: -
• Coordinating the review of the Strategic Plan;
• Developing a framework on stakeholders participation;
• Conducting competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the market;
• Identifying and implementing strategies, programmes and projects;
• Conducting studies on matters relating to competition and consumer protection;
• Constructing forecasts and analytical models;
• Monitoring and analysing industry trends and market changes; and
• Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the implementation of programmes and projects.

Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must: -
• Have at least six (6) years relevant work experience in public or private institution
• Have Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Engineering ,Economics, Statistics, or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
• Be registered with a professional body where applicable;
• Have proficiency in Computer application Skills;
• Have shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
