Our Client is looking for a Principal Capacity Building Officer
Background the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA) was established in 2013 by an Act of Parliament the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration Act No. 26 of 2013 as a Centre for promotion of international commercial arbitration and other alternative forms of dispute resolution other alternative forms of dispute resolution. NCIA is currently looking for qualified and competent persons to take up the role of a Principal Capacity Building Officer. Reporting to the Manager Business Development, this role is responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies and strategies for the Capacity Building Unit. The candidate will also oversee nationwide training needs assessment in Alternative Dispute Resolution as well as planning and implementation of capacity building activities in Alternative Dispute Resolution. The successful candidate must have; a Bachelor's degree in either Law, Arbitration, Business Administration, Education or a related field from a recognized University, A Post-graduate degree in a relevant field. The candidate also must be a member of a recognized professional body in good standing and must have met all the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya. In addition, the successful candidate must have served in the role of a Senior Capacity Building Officer for a minimum period of three (3) years, or have relevant working experience of seven (7) years with a minimum of five (5) years in a senior management position. Dispute Resolution. The successful candidate must have; a Bachelor's degree in either Law, Arbitration, Business Administration, Education or a related field from a recognized University, A Post-graduate degree in a relevant field. The candidate also must be a member of a recognized professional body in good standing and must have met all the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya. In addition, the successful candidate must have served in the role of a Senior Capacity Building Officer for a minimum period of three (3) years, or have relevant working experience of seven (7) years with a minimum of five (5) years in a senior management position.
