JOB DETAILS:
Purpose
The Principal Capacity Building Officer (Internship)will be responsible for successful implementation of the Boards Graduate Engineers Internship Programme.

Duties And Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail: -
• Developing the curriculum for registration of engineers.
• Overseeing the development of tools necessary for conducting professional examinations for the purposes of registration;
• Overseeing development of the requirements for establishing the school of engineering and the opportunities for learning, professional exposure and skills acquisition; and
• Developing tools for facilitating the graduate engineers internship programme.

Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, an officer must: -
• Have a minimum period of six (6) years relevant work experience;
• Have Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines - Engineering, Statistics, Communications, Economics, Finance, Law, Social Science from a recognized university;
• Be registered with a relevant professional body where applicable;
• Have Proficiency in computer applications;
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
• Fulfilling the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution.
