Principal Analyst, Humanities and Social Sciences
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in a Anthropology, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, or equivalent from a recognized university ii. Masters degree in Anthropology, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, or equivalent from a recognized university iii. At least eight (8) years relevant work experience in a public or private institution
• At least three (3) years experience in a supervisory role
• Demonstrated results in work performance vi. Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable
• Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.
• Demonstrate the following key competencies and skills:
• Proficiency in IT
• Communication and reporting skills
• Analytical skills;
• Interpersonal skills;
• Integrity;
• Team player
Responsibilities
• Compile reports on studies designed for policy advisory and priority setting within Humanities and Social Sciences;
• Prepare reports and proceedings for fora on new knowledge and emerging technologies in Humanities and Social Sciences;
• Verify data and information on Humanities and Social Sciences for entry into the national databases;
• Develop concept notes for strategic interventions within Humanities and Social Sciences;
• Undertake promotion activities for Humanities and Social Sciences;
