Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for providing office accommodation and administrative  services to the Authority’s staff. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Overseeing the implementation of administration policies, rules, standards and  regulations; 
  • Coordinating office management services, office accommodation, transport and  logistics;  
  • Making arrangements for the acquisition of legal documents such as motor vehicle  and assets insurances; 
  • Ensuring all the Authority assets have requisite ownership documents such motor  vehicle logbooks, land title deeds etc 
  • Monitoring adherence and implementation of the departmental work plans; 
  • Supervising the performance appraisals for the support staff within the Section; 
  • Interpreting and implementing record management policies 
  • Developing records management systems 
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly reports on administration within the  Authority. 

Person Specifications  

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration; Business Administration; Office  Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;  
  • Master’s degree in Public Administration; Business Administration; Office  Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution will be an  added advantage;  
  • Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized  institution; 
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience; 
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
