Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet the needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son Jesus Christ.
Job Summary;
Samaritan's Purse (SP) is looking for a Pilot to serve full time with its East Africa aviation team to be based in Eldoret. Kenya We currently operate the following aircraft types from our main base in Eldoret, Kenya: Cessna Grand Caravan, King Air 200, and DC-3T. The most important qualities we are looking for is a heart to serve and the desire to support organizational values. Days often begin early and end late, uniforms get dirty loading aircraft, the landing zones and accommodations are rough, and the environment austere. What we do is humanitarian aviation. .

Responsibility
• Performs pilot duties as needed or assigned
• Be willing and comfortable working in remote environments, with little support structure, often in unstable areas or war
• Represents Samaritan's Purse as a professional when dealing with donors, government officials and others:

Qualifications
• Administrative/Management Leadership experience highly desired
• Preferred 2.500 flight hours (minimum of 1,500hrs), at least 1000hrs of which as PIC
• International experience with bush flying, desirable
• Experience with one or more SP planes [King Air 200, DC-3T, Cessna Grand Caravan) desired
• Kenya Commercial Single Engine Land Pilot License with instrument Rating required and willing to pursue FAA licensing
• Willing to sign a training bend for license conversion to FAA Commercial/Instrument license, initial USA based training and any additional FAA ratings:
• Multi Engine Land desired but not required
• FAA SELO MEL Commercial pilot license preferred:
• Tailwheel experience a plus
• Fifth Year College or university program certificate or two to four years related experience and for training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One year of college-level Biblical studies preferred
• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ:
