Job Description
The Optical Trainees will be part of our B2C team in Kenya in one of our optical centers.
The Optical Trainees will shadow the Optometrist to conduct vision tests within our optical centers. He/she shall also be involved in sales and marketing of Lapaire products and services.

Lapaire Optical Trainee Program
Module 1: The Lapaire Offer
What Lapaire is all about, what we do, what we offer and how we do it
Module 2: Freshworks CRM
Learn about Freshworks and how it works (attach/paste the training doc)
Module 3: Frames
Get to know the various types, shapes and names of Lapaire frames that are named after African cities
Module 4: Optical Lenses
Aim to refresh their memory on the various types of lenses and their uses as well as training about their prices and how to prescribe them
Module 5: Refraction & Optical Techniques
Theoretical and practical training on Refraction using a trial lens kit as well as other Optical techniques and tools like Eyenetra etc.
Module 6: Sales & Marketing
Training them on Sales and Marketing techniques like how to overcome sales objections and sales arguments to use after conducting a vision test

Candidate profile
• Graduated or anticipating graduation with a degree or diploma in Optometry.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in a similar role (employment, internship or clinical rotation) is required to be considered for this role.
• Possessing sales & marketing skills would be an advantage.
• The candidate should be comfortable using new technologies, mobile apps and software on phone & computer.
