JOB DETAILS:
The Operations Associate will oversee the prequalification, vetting, onboarding, and training of drivers as well as the day-to-day management of their assigned fleet.

Job Responsibilities
Driver Management

• Selecting drivers in adherence to set guidelines and standards.
• Communicating Amiturck’s value proposition to drivers.
• Training drivers on Amitruck’s expected way of working and key responses and protocols e.g. theft, and accidents.
• Connecting drivers with jobs that are appropriate to their vehicle and customer needs.
• Working closely with Customer care to ensure drivers get to pick up and drop off points on time.

Fleet Management
• Identifying, onboarding, and managing fleet partnerships in line with set guidelines and standards.
• Ensuring fleet adherence to the Amitruck checklist.
• Appropriately escalating and resolving disruptions such as breakdowns and accidents.

Data Management
• Ensuring accurate, up-to-date, and actionable information is provided for the below:
• Entries on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
• Fueling
• Remittances slips
• Proof of delivery
• Client-specific requests

Key Accounts Management
• Ensuring that orders are accurately captured on the Amitruck platform.
• Ensuring that drivers are appropriately matched to customer requirements.
• Ensuring timely gathering and submission of reports, invoices, and delivery notes to the appropriate platform.
• Routinely visit their premises to supervise the loading and offloading process.
• Maintaining a cordial and professional relationship with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Appropriately escalating and resolving any operational matters arising.

Business Development
• Gathering intelligence on market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.
• Suggesting appropriate improvements to business processes and work tools.
• Scouting for new business opportunities within assigned accounts.

Experience
• 3 years of previous work experience in fleet supervision.

Level of Education:
Bachelor Degree
